LITU International Graduate Conference 2025
The Language Institute, Thammasat University (LITU), in collaboration with AsiaTEFL, is proud to announce the LITU International Graduate Conference 2025 with the theme “Empowering Global Professionals: Advancing English Language Teaching and Career Communication.” This conference seeks to bring together graduate students, researchers, and practitioners from various fields of English language teaching (ELT), TESOL, ESP, EAP, Applied Linguistics, Language Studies, and Career English for International Communication to engage in meaningful discussions and exchange knowledge that is crucial to the evolving landscape of language education.
As global connectivity continues to grow, the role of English as a lingua franca in both professional and academic spheres is undeniable. As the demand for proficient English speakers continues to rise, English language teaching and communication skills are essential in equipping individuals for success in international careers. The theme “Empowering Global Professionals: Advancing English Language Teaching and Career Communication” emphasizes the need to develop pedagogical approaches that not only foster language proficiency but also prepare learners for the demands of global professional communication.
This theme reflects the growing importance of integrating career-focused communication into language teaching. By addressing both the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of ELT and career communication, the conference aims to bridge the gap between educational practices and real-world needs, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for careers in a rapidly changing global job market.

Submission Dates: April 1 – May 17, 2025
Submission Type: Abstract for Presentation (30 minutes)
Abstract Detail: The abstract should not exceed 250 words, in English. Three keywords relevant to the conference theme should be included.
Acceptance Notification: Generally, within 2 weeks after the submission.
Online Submission: You are required to register on abstract submission system to submit your abstract.
An interested presenter is allowed to submit one abstract for consideration as a lead presenter. However, they can be a co-presenter of another one or more presentations upon registration.

For Presenters and participants
- Accepted presenters are required to register on this website to complete payment.
- To be eligible for the early bird rate, the registration payments must be paid before May 30, 2025, at 23:59 hrs. (GMT +7).
- For the regular rate, registration payments made between June 1 and June 10, 2025, at 23.59 hrs. (GMT +7) are subject to the regular rate.
- Each presenter or co-presenter should proceed with payment individually.
- The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The registration fee includes a two-day pass to the conference sessions, lunches and refreshments, electronic conference materials, and electronic certificates.

How do I submit an abstract and make payment as a presenter?

- Wait for an acceptance email notification.
- Register again at 2025.litugradconf.com (this website) to confirm attendance and make the payment.
How do I pay using the Mobile Banking / QR Code option?
- From Computer: Use your PHONE’S CAMERA (or a generic QR app) to scan the QR code. DO NOT use the scanner inside your BANKING APP.
- From Mobile Phone: It will automatically redirect you to your BANKING APP.
How do I register as a participant?
Simply register directly at 2025.litugradconf.com and proceed with payment.
How do I get a receipt for my payment?
Once you complete your payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email. The official receipt will be provided on-site at the conference check-in counter.
How do I get the early-bird discount?
For presenters, ensure your abstract is submitted before May 17 to allow time for acceptance and payment. Keep in mind that abstract approval and conference registration verification may take some time. Register and complete payment during the April 18 – May 30 early-bird period to get discounted rates.
